His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai announced the opening of Expo City Dubai, this coming October 2022. A sustainable, tech-enabled, human-centric, city of the future.
“Expo City Dubai will continue to provide a model for innovative urban districts geared toward collaboration, knowledge sharing, and talent creation for the benefit of future generations. It will leverage its extraordinary infrastructure advantages to generate local and global economic value as a clean and green tech hub. And at the same time, it will build upon the foundations laid by virtual expo our presence in the Metaverse and other groundbreaking technological advancements to establish its very own unique space” pointed out by Her Excellency Reem Al-Hashimi Minister of State for International Cooperation and the Managing Director for the Expo 2020 Dubai Bureau.
